Starting a new project or bringing a site online? Before permanent monitoring infrastructure is in place, you still need data. Novecom’s hire fleet puts a fully supported, data-connected monitoring unit on your site quickly, without the lead time or capital commitment of a permanent installation.

Each unit is trailer-mounted, solar-powered, and connected to Novecom’s SentineX® data platform from day one. Your team can access monitoring data remotely, and our team stays alongside you with calibration and support for the duration of the hire.

Every Novecom hire unit comes fully configured and supported.

Ongoing calibration. Your unit is calibrated and maintained by Novecom for the full duration of the hire.

When to hire

A hire unit suits a range of operational situations. If you need monitoring on site quickly without a permanent installation, one of these scenarios likely applies.

New site startup

When a new site is being established, monitoring needs to be in place before operations begin. A hire unit can be deployed while permanent systems are being designed, procured, and installed, keeping your project on schedule.

Project-based monitoring

For projects with a defined timeframe, a hire unit provides the monitoring you need for the duration without capital expenditure. When the project wraps up, so does the hire.

Maintenance and upgrade cover

If your permanent monitoring unit is offline for scheduled maintenance or an upgrade, a hire unit keeps your site covered in the interim. Monitoring continues without interruption while your equipment is serviced and recommissioned.

Bridge to a permanent installation

If a permanent unit has been ordered but is not yet on site, a hire unit keeps monitoring active until your system is commissioned and running. No gaps, no delays to your programme.

Flexible hire terms

Hire terms are straightforward. Talk to the Novecom team about your project timeline and we will confirm the right arrangement for your site.

Minimum period

There is no minimum hire period. Hire for as long as your project requires.

Longer-term hire

Hire fees reduce for longer-term arrangements. Speak to the team about your timeline.

Duration

Short-term and long-term hire are both available to suit your project or operational timeline.

Transport

Delivery and collection of the hire unit is arranged by the client.
